TRIPOD TRANSLATIONS

The name of the business is taken from the family crest (see image on the left), was established in 2000/01 and has enjoyed continued growth since then. It is run by Per Riise, a Norwegian native with a Master’s Degree in English and multicultural and multinational experiences as both student and employee. I was born, raised and educated in Norway, but previous jobs meant living in Lebanon and ex-Yugoslavia. My MD research was spent throughout Australia in 1997, and should I ever tire of Naples, Florida (which sounds implausible), visiting down under again sounds like a good idea :-).

Today, Tripod Translations is a full member of the
Norwegian Non-fiction Writers And Translators Association (NFF) and the Swedish Association of Professional Translators (SFOE). Tripod Translations strives to deliver the highest quality, and in order to do so, the most stringent quality assurance measures are applied.

Tripod Translations considers the translation process to be a partnership with the client, where the goal is to achieve a translated product that reads like a natively produced text. The translation of a product is also an extension of the product, and should be treated with the same level of professionalism.
